"no Mom, I don't want the BAD police officer to take you away!"

So today was quite the day....  oh BTW, my Internet is back up and running. My brother came back from Chicago and fixed the Internet. It was weird. Anyways, I'm back online now (at least until the Internet decides it doesn't want to work anymore).

OK back to today. So I went to the aquarium today with the L's. All four little ones, their lovely mother, and her lovely mother who lives with them. We had a delightful time. The girls were sporting their new Stride Rite shoes, precious as always (I'll upload the pic later). Of course I held Ella the whole time while Ms Debbie held Molly. Molly was ALL smiles all afternoon, didn't cry ONCE while we were walking around the "Ocean Journey" and then "River Journey" which is a total first. Both girls enjoyed their first aquarium visit. As we were leaving the "Ocean Journey" we stepped into the gift shop just to browse. Then I saw THE cutest stuffed penguin and had to splurge. I mean, it was soft like a Pillow Pet and looked like a real baby penguin all fluffy and stuff.

So I got it. And my little Ella Bean could NOT put it down. She was attached. She wouldn't let anyone else touch it let alone hold it. Every time we tried to let Molly hold it and cuddle (which she nuzzled up to it and smiled the biggest smile) with it, Ella would snatch it right out of her arms and hold it tight. She carried it the whole time we were on the River Journey. It was adorable. So I know what I'm getting her for her first birthday :].

Anyways, we saw a hedgehog, screeching owl, and two turtles. I didn't get to pet the turtle though even though you were allowed because I was holding my Ella Bean. Which was obviously satisfying.

After the kids lost it and we knew our delightful day was done, we had to get a snack. So we figured we would get ice cream at Cold Stone. Hopped into the car, flew over there, grabbed some delicious ice cream (Chocolate Devotion satisfied my chocolate needs for the week along with enough calories for the next month), then hopped back in the car. Then we were headed to Griffins work to pick up his check so Ms Debbie could deposit it. No big deal, right? Wrong.

So we were at the corner of 3rd/4th (I don't remember which) and Market. Waiting at the red light. The light turns green and I thought to myself, "I guess Ms Debbie should...." huge jolt..... The lady behind us bumps into the back of the car. Ms Debbie and I look at each other in complete confusion. It was literally the weirdest thing ever. Totally unexpected. So of course we had to pull over and call the police. Waited forever. Then a little police lady comes 30 minutes later in her little Prius with her yellow lights flashing. Whitman was convinced that the police lady was going to "take his mommy away" and wanted to sit in Ms Debbie's lap. It was so sad. He was so sad and tired and he desperately wanted to be with his momma. Of course both of the girls were in hysterics; screaming, crying, babbling, throwing toys... it was ideal. Naturally.

So that basically sums up my whole day. Basically. It was awesome. And I really don't want to go back to school tomorrow. Like seriously. I could totally just not go for that right now. Plus, like my whole schedule is different tomorrow. I changed English classes, so I had to drop a couple other classes. Maybe I should look that schedule up now. You know, the night before. NBD. Sigh, mk. Off the laptop for now. Maybe I should watch a couple more How I Met Your Mother episodes tonight to calm my nerves ?!
