night before school

yeah.. this is my 3rd post of the day. and yeah, I'm awful at moderation. Like one day  barely post anything and the next day I post like 3 things. It's all about how my day is working out for me.

ANYHOO. Emily and I just had a lengthy one hour conversation on Skype. twas delightful. Then we both got really bored of each other. Haha. But she looked at the Ferret website with me. Wanna see what we picked?

It's like $150, but I wouldn't ever have to buy another ferret cage. I mean it's quality. Plus I will most likely be living in tight quarters when I have my ferrets. So this just seems logical. I was going to get the one that's $200 and it's like taller (it's like double the space), but when talking to Em she urged me to not do it. I'm kinda leaning towards the cheaper one because I totally see her point. Like I think they will be fine. Plus, $50 is a lot of money. That's like 5 hours babysitting. I figure it will be around $500 I will need to START my ferret stuff. Like I need $130 per ferret (and I will need to get two... so they will each have a friend)... which equals out to be like close to $300 with tax. Then $150 for the cage (which I will have to order online since they don't have any where I live). Which comes to about $500. That's not even calculating in food, toys, litter, vet bills, etc. But it's a good start. Plus it's not like I will be getting my ferrets at the beginning of the fall. I mean, I kinda want to get settled in and stuff before I get my ferrets. To make sure that they fit into my schedule and everything. I don't want to get them just for me, I mean, they are alive and stuff. They have feelings, needs, and everything. I have to make sure I have enough money to provide for them.

Dang it. I was gonna check and see how much ferret food costs at my local pet store today... shucks. I'll have to go back and ask Tara what kind she rec. I feel like she would know. If you haven't noticed, I want the best for my rodent friends :]

Oh ps-- did you know that your ferrets can sleep with you in your bed? I mean, as long as you don't roll over on them and crush them of course. haha
