Ella Bella Boo and Molly Molly Moo

Today I went to the Creative Discovery Museum to see Ella (the youngest L) be the New Year baby when they celebrate at noon instead of midnight.
The New Year Baby (Ella) and Father Time

New Year Baby (Ella) and Father Time up on stage

Ella, myself, and Molly after the "party" at the CDM

After the party at CDM, we hit up Ghengis Grille with the whole L clan. We tracked confetti in. Oh I forgot to mention the 300 pounds of confetti that hit Molly and me while we were watching Ella "perform" up on stage. It was pretty much the scariest thing ever. I held my hand over Mollys' head in order to protect her from the tiny, deadly pieces of paper. Which ended up almost drowning Max and Whitman. I had to dig my way out of the whole thing. Rather unfortunate. I was surprised however that Molly was not in hysterics. She usually freaks out with crazy stuff, which this definitely falls into that category. CRRAAAZZZZZYYYY TTIIIIMMMMMMMMEEEESSSSS!

Well that's it for THIS YEAR

brighter than the moon moon moon

So Em inspired me today... I just read her blog post from earlier today. I think I'm gonna slowly cut off of Facebook. I'm gonna cut it off for a full year, and see where that takes me. I mean, everyone that I want to talk to I can text or call at any point. I mean, do I really need a way for other people to stalk me and other people to stalk me? I think I'm gonna do it. On January 1, 2011, I am no longer going to be on Facebook. No need to have legalized stalking. And on January 1, 2012, I will decide if I want to get back on or not. THERE. I SAID IT. GO AWAY FACEBOOK. GROW A PAIR.
wow. crazy times. Oh ps- lunch at IHOP with the L's was AMAZING!!!!! I love being with them. I feel so needed. And loved. It's a great feeling. Well that's all for today.... I think. :D

blog blog blog

OK this blog thing is soooo cool. I don't know why Em and I didn't start doing this a long time ago. Oh well. My background is from Jacksonville, FL. My dad took it on his iPhone one morning just as the sun was rising over the water. B-E-A-utiful right? I thought so too. Nature is one of the most amazing things ever. Em and I might have time on Friday to take some nature shots. I will have to convince her to I bet. She's gonna be feeling lazy. Pshh.

My neighbors house in Dayton.... such a clear day to take photos.

Our lovely WHITE Christmas :D

Today seems like a L day

wow. It's almost the new year. My goodness how time flies. I don't know what I'm going to do today. It's just me and the dachshunds at home today. The other four doggies went to school today. So I have a little more freedom with my going places. I think after I pick up the big dogs from school and drop them off at home, I think I just might head up Lookout to see the L's. Oh, you guys don't know who the L's are. Well it's a family that I babysit. But the mom, Ms Debbie, is like one of my best friends. We are very similar. We talk daily. I have worked at a summer camp at my school for little kids for 3 years and she has been the science teacher there the past 3 years. So when her child count at her house finally doubled,  she decided it was time for a babysitter (which would be me). So my friend Emily (different Emily than the one I am blogging with) and I took the reins and became the L's first babysitter. We are quite the team. Sadly, I have more free time than Emily does because she actually DOES stuff like participate in school activities while I prefer to not and waste my time doing other such shenanigans. Oh well. I get to spend more time at the L's.

**in the past 10 minutes since I posted this, Ms Debbie texted me to see if I want to have lunch at IHOP with them.... who knew. Ha. And that means I get to bring her her gift a little early :D. Which is exciting. Even though I will see them tonight. Psh, the earlier the better I suppose. Haha I am planning on sneaking up the mountain after I drop the dogs off, so this just means DOUBLE L time

almost the start of the year

first, William Rice is not the coolest person in the world... lies
So to start from the very beginning, I guess I should explain what I'm doing on here.
My friend, Emily, and I have made it our New Years Resolution to have a daily blog. All 365 days of it. Even documenting the most boring of days, from start to finish. Her blog is http://blondenoogan.blogspot.com/ . She is going for more of an art standpoint, but I really don't know what angle I'm coming from. Not yet at least. We will see.
So for an update on today and yesterday, we celebrated New Years Eve by hanging out and staying at Em's house at the tamale party. Which was awesome in general.

Ok I guess I should back up even more. For Christmas, I finally got the Macbook Pro that I had been dreaming of getting for like a good year or so.... so now I feel like a computer whiz. Typing away at everything all the time. This laptop is literally the most amazing thing ever. As is Skype. Who would have ever thought we could do all this like 20 years ago?! Wow. And I recently got a new iPod shuffle. Don't get me wrong, I love my iPhone, but I am too scared to put music on it only because I fear that if something was to happen to my phone then all my music would be gone too. Which would be super sad.
