Slow down, you crazy child.
You're so ambitious for a juvenile.
But then if you're so smart, tell me why are you still so afraid?
Where's the fire? What's the hurry about?
You better cool it off before you burn it out.
You got so much to do and only so many hours in a day.
Don't you know that when the truth is told
That you can get what you want or you can just get old?
You're gonna kick off before you even get halfway through.
When will you realize Vienna waits for you?
Slow down, you're doing fine.
You can't be everything you wanna be before your time,
Although it's so romantic on the borderline tonight, tonight.
Too bad, but it's the life you lead.
You're so ahead of yourself that you forgot what you need.
Though you can see when you're wrong,
You know, you can't always see when you're right, you're right.
You've got your passion. You've got your pride,
But don't you know that only fools are satisfied?
Dream on, but don't imagine they'll all come true.
When will you realize Vienna waits for you?
Slow down, you crazy child.
Take the phone off the hook and disappear for a while.
It's all right you can afford to lose a day or two.
When will you realize Vienna waits for you?
Don't you know that when the truth is told
That you can get what you want or you can just get old?
You're gonna kick off before you even get halfway through.
Why don't you realize Vienna waits for you?
When will you realize Vienna waits for you?

long time no see.
ok so it's not like you could do anything about the fact that i wasn't posting. deal with it.
i mean, it's just em and louise reading this anyways, right? mmk.
well college has been interesting. for the most part i hate it. lots of stuff has been happening since college started. had a job. lost it. lost all my friends to college. had two good friends still here that are past the college stage. just lost one of them. long story. not blog worthy. but anyways, i still have emmy here at UTC that i've known since 1st grade (yeah we are that legit... we've been friends for almost 12 years... i started going to BR in January of 1st grade and she was my "buddy")... so it's nice to have her here. not that we have lost track of one another or anything, we've always been friends, but it was hard over the years. she moved to maine in 2nd grade and then moved back January of 4th grade. we were never in the same class though. then she went to baylor and i went to gps.. so it was hard to find time to hang out. we both had our own lives. but our moms are bff's and have been good friends since emmy and i became friends. we went up to maine at some point when they lived up there and they came down here constantly since both of their families (her moms parents and her dads parents and her cousin) live here. SO it's been nice to have lunch with her 2-3 times a week, dinner occasionally, have our favorite class together (sociology of the family), study for that class together, and hopefully continue to take early childhood education classes with her.... cross our fingers!
anyways, other than classes and my job that i had, i didnt really do anything.. except join a sorority! haha pysched you out there didnt i?! yep, im a chi omega pledge. its fun. lots of stuff to do. lots of people to meet. just a lot going on. met tons of nice people through it. but im just gonna touch on two of my newfound friends. both are in my pledge class (means they went through rush when i did and such).
one is susanna. shes awesome. shes totally normal. we hang out before new member meetings, usually get there an hour early so we can sit outside the chi o house in the rocking chairs and basically catch one another up on how our week has been and what we did that weekend. we hope to make it a legit tradition. because even though we see each other every tuesday and thursday in our 8am english class, we hardly have enough time to talk! so we just plan on having our "rocking chair time" together each week.
second is my friend megan. she was in my pi chi group (rush group). shes awesome. also normal. she has a twin. we like to do a lot of the same things just like me and susanna. shes in the sociology of the family class with emmy too. megan is just chill and down to earth. shes up for anything just like susanna. every once in a while we grab lunch together. just depends.
so i have met people that im friends with and stuff. it just took foreverrrr it seemed like. college happens fast. there are a ton of changes all at once. like you move out of your home, start all these college classes (trust me, they are different... i wouldn't say harder, but just totally different than any high school class). the workload is different. its quick and lots of it, but you have a little longer to do it. it takes awhile to get used to it. im still not used to it. carole told me it will take time. and lots of it. bummer right?
this is my second all nighter im pulling this year.. and the first one was on sunday night.. so 2 in one week.... yeah. i was up for over 36 hours last time. i didnt really have a huge crash or anything, i just slept like a little babbyyy on monday night. it was great. this time i will at least get the weekend to rest over. which is always a positive. well, im going to continue cleaning my room like i was doing before i got SOOO sidetracked and typed up a freaking storm on here. did i mention i just wrote a 7 page research paper in the past few hours? yeah finally took my adderall and then took a 2 hour nap (it has to kick in somehow) and woke up at like 1:15am and started to force myself to do it. naturally it sucked at first, but i edited that out. i didn't think it was gonna be 7 pages.. was more aiming for like 4 pages, but it happens. haha i had literally done NO work on it the past 2 weeks... awful student, i know. but it got done. and i think it was actually pretty good. i had to read a ton before i could write it, so its intense. on sunday night when i stayed up, i wrote a 5 page paper for western humanities, wrote a 2 page paper for english (which is the same class i just wrote the 7 page paper for), and did ALL my math homework from the past 2 weeks... its hard math. it may be called elementary and middle school math, but we have an engineer in our class who is taking all the math courses... and he is struggling with it. because its not about the answer or anything, those are easy to get... its the method. like you leave out one tiny detail of the problem and you miss the whole problem. which is like 3-4 points out of only 50 points. yeah there are only like 20 problems on each test because they take SOOO long to do. it's ridiculous. and i have an awful teacher. she doesnt give homework back that she grades for correctness until after we take the test.... how are we suppose to learn?! most ridiculous thing everr.. just saying. we got our ch 1 and ch 2 hw that we turned in almost 3 weeks ago back on tuesday. yeah thanks.
OKAY NOW IM REALLY LEAVING.
still have so much to do.......
mucho love.
