I'm so happy. Cause I can hang out with her during the school day :]
And we have the basketball game to go to tonight for Camp Night. Pretty awesome.
Then tomorrow I am picking up Claire from school and babysitting her or taking her to her parents office (don't really know yet).... then babysitting her tomorrow night. Which is going to be super fun. Because Claire and I always have fun. Always. We will probably build something. I think we will grab Krystal for a snack/dinner once I pick her up from school. We did that last Friday.

Precious Ella Marie
My Ella Bella Baby smiles for the camera when I say "SAY CHEESE"..... she does it..... LOVE HER!
Such a party girl... I cannot WAIT till she gets older.. she is going to have her father wrapped around her tiny little finger... And she already knows I can't say no to her. I mean the second she starts crying I rush to her side and rescue her from whatever discomfort she's in. Such a doll. I love her so much. No matter how bad of a situation I'm in, Ella's face can always cheer me up. She is just so full of love. I'm so happy she is here on this Earth and I thank God every day for the choice her mom made. What a true blessing she is the L family. I'm happy they didn't follow some of their other relatives advice in letting someone else adopt her because Ella definitely completes their family. She is a very lucky little girl to be blessed with such loving, understanding parents who care so much about her. Both her grandma on her mom's side, who lives with them, and her other grandparents love her to pieces. And she also has the worlds greatest big brother (most of the time) and the sweetest little big brother. And her "big" (I am using this term very lightly considering they are 7 weeks apart) sister will always have her back when she gets bigger. They will be a great team when they grow up.
I'm just so happy I got to meet Ms Debbie through camp and therefore meet Ella. This school year has been, extremely tough, should I say. And having unconditional love from Ella has been nice. Because no matter what I did/do wrong, no matter what mistakes I made/make, Ella doesn't care. She just giggles and drools :]]]

Max and his SUPER cool new glasses. I think he looks pretty spiffy, don't you?
My new mouse habitat... yeah I built that fort for my micies. I need to take out that plastic tub, but I need to put the food and water on something so they don't mess it up. Any suggestions?
And that's Collier chillin in the cage... she is in there by herself for now because both Anniston AND Heidi think it's fun to beat up a baby. They are together in the smaller cage. They know better.

today was a busy day!
I had lunch with the L's at IHOP, went to the blue Walmart with the L's, killed time with the L's, then had dinner with the L's! Twas fun. Tomorrow I'm going to their house so Ms Debbie can help me get organized for school and write my Berry college application/essay.
Got home at like 7. Cleaned the micies cage then tried tointroduce reintroduce ( 3rd time is the charm :]]]]]]]]]]]] )Anniston to baby Collier. Fail. I did everything I was suppose to do too; I thoroughly cleaned the cage with bleach, vinegar water solution by Windex, AND water with baking soda (kills all the odors). Soaked all the plastic stuff in steaming hot water with dish washing detergent. Gave them new socks to borrow in, gave them PLENTY of places to sleep separately and/or together... then I put pure vanilla extract on each mouses bottom and chest so everyone would smell the same when introduced (worked at first then it failed).
Collier really did try this time.. she raised up saying in mouse language "My life is completely in your hands! Please don't kill me! I'm a baby! PLEASEE!!!!" Anniston accepted that at first then she started bullying again. So I took her out of the situation. If she's going to be mean, then she has to leave the fun cage. So she is. Collier is loving being in the "big" cage. Heidi is sooo sweet to Collier. It's adorable. She accepts her and let's her into the hut. Not just any hut though. It's the the the hut.
Now I'm watching them in the cage.... Heidi is actually eating and drinking. I think Anniston was abusive to her. She is like stuffing her face. Poor kid. No wonder she flies out of my hands every time I touch her...
I don't know what I'm gonna do. Sigh. I guess I'll just have to wait and see how this all works out.

"Emily will ace Wells' exam if he agrees to do a relay race for the GyPsieS"
sorry about not blogging yesterday. It wasn't a good day to wear white if that means anything..... twice. I fell asleep at 9pm on the couch downstairs. Tragic. I would have froze if my two little dachshunds weren't asleep with me. Tragic.
Anyhow, I'm tired. Real tired. Munchin on some ice. Have been ALL day long.
I really need to start saving money for Disney. Like really do. I have like $40 saved. It's in like 2 weeks. I need like $300. WHAT A FAIL! I desperately need to babysit it up these next couple weekends. Too bad I didn't save more of what I earned over Christmas break.... EHHHH WHY AM I RETARDED AND NOT SAVE?!!!!!!!?!!??!!!!???????

I need mouse owner advice.
Seriously.
Anniston still beats up Collier. It's making me worried they won't ever get along. I just hold them in separate hands and let them sniff each other for like 5 minutes a day so they can get ready for their real introduction. Annistons behavior is NOT very promising.
UGHHHHH

Trapeze and Hammocks
So tonight, I did this class with my neighbor.. if this tells you anything about it's location regarding safety, it's close to McCallie and last night a man was chased down by another man carrying a hammer. Yeah a little freaky.
Anyways, I had so much fun. It's super hard to explain. I'm going to try and find some pictures and videos tomorrow but I am SOOOOOOO sore right now and I am going to be sore for another day or two (okay probably more like 3 or 4). But it's awesome. I got to stretch out my back and core muscles. I don't think I'm gonna do the trapeze part anymore though. I think I might do a different class that's all hammock. The trapeze has really thick ropes that kinda rip your skin off. A tiny bit painful. And my armpits hurt. In one of the moves we did, you like out your armpit through or something. I don't know. I don't know much about this stuff yet. So when you see me walking through the halls tomorrow limping the whole way, don't make fun of me. I was dangling upside down for 5 minutes straight tonight and probably left some of the blood in my cranium :]

LEGEN... wait for it.... DARY
Yeah I just How I Met Your Mother quoted that one.... waz up.
Mmk. So todays been pretty boring. Nothing exciting really. Basically just hung around the house, took the dogs for a walk with my mom.
Played with my micies. Collier is SOO tiny. It's ridiculous. Everyone has had a turn in the mouse ball tonight. Collier went first. She was so confused. She had it for the longest I think... Only because I knew she wouldn't figure it out for a long time. Which was correct. Then Anniston had her turn. She was in there the whole time I took a bath. She was rolling around the whole time. I was trying to watch How I Met Your Mother on my laptop, but it was difficult. Now Heidi is in the ball in the bathroom while I do my blog updating and Facebook checking. This is also her first time, so I think I might let her stay in there for a long time so she can figure it out and all. Ughh sometimes I hate this little wheel thing that's in their cage. They run on it CONSTANTLY. Last night around 3:30 or so, I woke up because they were being so loud so I took out the wheel. It was driving me up a wall. Maybe I should try spraying some WD40 on it or something because it wasn't this loud when I got it. I swear. I can't wait till Collier can move into the big cage with the big girls. She's currently in the Critter Cage placed in the 10 gallon with them so they can get used to her smell and she theirs. I tried to introduce them yesterday when I first got her... but it didn't end well. Anniston like tackled the poor baby and there was a lot of squeaking involved. Poor baby Collier. She's merely a baby mouse. Today I let Anniston see Collier while in my hands (both in my hands). Anniston reached across the air and smacked Collier in the face. Collier immediately started crying of course. Poor kid. I cuddled her and scolded Anniston. We tried like 5 minutes later Anniston didn't try and hurt her.
Ok I hope it's not bad to put lotion round your ear cause mine was itching.
Anyways. Reference to Emily's blog, a lovely quote that I have enjoyed for many years... and have this on DVD...
For what it's worth: it's never too late, or in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be.
There's no time limit, stop whenever you want.
You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing.
We can make the best or the worst of it.
I hope you make the best of it.
And I hope you see things that startle you.
I hope you feel things you never felt before.
I hope you meet people with a different point of view.
I hope you live a life you're proud of.
If you find that you're not, i hope you have the strength to start all over again.

I got my MAY DAY dress yesterday!!!
Yep. Made a stop at Monica's Bridal.
Lovely lovely. They actually keep track of all the dresses everyone buys and they don't sell the same dress twice :] which is cool because you don't want to have the same dress as someone else in your grade has.. a complete NO NO!
Anyways, I pulled out maybe like 8 or so dresses. First this really pretty blue one with flowers on the top, then this other blue one with a twist tie in the front, then the others I don't remember.
I tried on the twist tie blue one first. It was okay, but nothing to go crazy about. Then I tried on the flower on......
My mom and I both knew that it was the one. But I tried on the other like 6 dresses. But nothing compared. We fell in love. And Monica's really isn't that expensive. If you haven't found your dress yet, I would definitely check it out. Anyways, here's a picture of the dress. And then a picture of me in it. I got it in Glacier blue.
Ok nevermind, the website won't let me save the image :[. Here is the link

Here I am at Monica's wearing it. Sorry for the decent quality. My mommy took it with her phone:

So now all we have to do is.... well everything else.
Schedule hair, make up, nails, order flowers, shoes, jewelry, dress fitting, get my dress approved.....
oh and schedule a pre hair and pre makeup so we know that we like what we are doing for the actual May Day....

Oh I forgot that I found these pictures of Anniston earlier
Anniston loves to hide in my sleeve. She really likes to nap there.
I found her sleeping like this....
And sleeping like this.....
My favorite.... I mean, how much more precious can you get...
Oh you know, just hanging...
Me and Anniston :]
Introducing... baby Collier!
Yep. I got a baby mouse to add to the family :].
Anniston was pi$$3d that I got another mouse. She actually attacked baby Collier but I intervined and saved the poor baby. I ran to PetCare Warehouse and asked for advice. No worries. It is all being solved right now. Collier is in the tiny carrier IN the big cage. I'll take a picture later.

ice is a meltin
I apologize. I am too tired to post anything. But school wasn't really all that bad. It was short.
Then I picked up Claire from school, we went to Krystal for a snack, we went to her house, played for a while until her mom and dad got home, hopped in the car, drove them to the airport, almost left the airport, realized I left my iPhone at their house, ran inside, turns out she thought she left her cell phone at the house, their flight was cancelled anyways, they had to reschedule for 7:15pm anyways, so she hopped back in my car, we went back to their house, found both cell phones (hers ended up being in her backpack she had with her, but we ended up turning off some of the lights and such), went back to the airport, dropped her off, came home, ate some chili and Fritos, curled up in bed, made hot chocolate, curled back up in bed, watched How I Met Your Mother Season 3, and here I am.
Summary of my day. OH and Emily and I are babysitting the L's tomorrow night!!! WHOOO HOOO!
Ella can now shake her head when she doesn't want to do something, and Molly is getting beat up/bullied by my Ella. hahahahaha

Keychains
I started making the little plastic keychains today since I'm so bored. So I went to Hobby Lobby and found a craft. Yeah I walked into Hobby Lobby not knowing what I was going to purchase.... what the h*** was I thinking... that's never a good idea. And we all know it. Oh well, I didn't leave with a bill of more than $20... so I'm safe. This craft is easy for kids to do, so maybe some of the older kids I babysit can do it. Hopefully... I'll try and post a picture of the keychain, but here is the gist of it....
Okay that's what it looks like except I don't have clear colors. I am going to get some tomorrow. It would be more fun with clear. I have neon colors and primary colors... but get this, the primary colors doesn't come with the color red. Yeah not there... That's like a basic primary color... just saying...
Anyhow, I'm making Ellen (Claires mom) one right now, so I gotta get back to it. I wanna give it to her before she leaves for Utah tomorrow!
Peace! I'm out for the night, I have school tomorrow then I'm babysitting for Bear!!!

Yesterdays post was a lie
We didn't have school today. Nor will we tomorrow. I am going to go insane. NOT KIDDING. Who would have thought you could be so bored and miserable and not be in school. Social. Interaction. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Like my goodness, is this craziness really nec.
Although I am kinda enjoying this like open warm bed thing. I like being able to curl up in my bed/nest of blankets.... filled with pillows and down comforters. It's kinda comforting.

As you can CLEARLY see... I am quite cozy in my nest. I'm sure you can see where I fit in, correct? Okay maybe not. I go into the little corner.... right in front of the square pillow. It all works out very nicely. I rest my back on the square pillow, and clutch Morris the Moose under my right arm.

Snow Day?!
Six inches of snow?! Really now? This isn't happening... little dogs are hating it. Big dogs... LOVING IT!

What a good lad...
Basically did nothing the whole day. Woke up, got dressed, watched some TV on my parents new little TV, put on makeup, took Puff the dog out, went to church at 12:15pm, saw Meghan from afar, didn't know anyone else, watched the little girl in front of me do her Disney Princess workbook upside down for 3 pages (haha), left early from church right after communion, went to the Public House for brunch with my parents, had a super cool waiter who looks kinda like Em's dad, turns out he has some Latin descent and what not, ate a REALLY good meal (4 buttermilk pancakes which I only ate 3 with help from both my parents but mainly my mom, warm maple syrup, butter, 3 pieces of the most delicious, thick bacon ever, 2 cheese biscuits, and 1 bowl of macaroni and cheese.... OH all with the most natural glass of freshly squeezed lemonade!), came home, walked Sadie at the Greenway, got really cold at the Greenway, Sadie shivered after she stepped on ice and it broke and she fell into the puddle, rushed back to the car, drove home, wrote my Christmas thank you cards (super late, I know. Don't hate. At least they got written), ran to Petcare Warehouse with Anniston in my pocket to get a mouse ball for her, they were out so we had to go to PetSmart, got weird stares, gave weird stares back, dropped by TJ Maxx so I could use the restroom, faked looking around so I didn't look weird just running to the bathroom, came home.
That was a really long sentence. Much like the one they put in the bottom of our yearbook last year that connected everyone. Weird.
Anyways, now I'm sitting at home. About to read some The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare for Mrs. Gahans English class. Woot woot! That's basically all I have for homework this weekend. Now that I have Trigonometry and Statistics out of the way, I don't have as much busy work to do each night. Plus we probably won't even have school tomorrow, and possibly not even Tuesday if we are lucky!! Super cool, right?!

TODAYYYYY
So today was super busy and I just got home (left the house at 7:15am and just got home at like 11:30pm).... had to go to Saturday school this morning but it really wasn't that bad because we had Mr. Cook. Plus K Fish and Julia H were there. So it wasn't bad at all. Then I went straight to the L's to help them pack and stuff. I was there until 5pm. But around 12/1ish, precious Claire's mother, Ellen, texted me to see if I could babysit. She has had a lot going on in her life as has Ms Debbie, so I agreed to come babysit Claire tonight. Minus the fact that I was super tired upon arriving at their house, Claire was super fun. She was so energetic tonight. I love it when kids are excited that you are there babysitting them. It's so adorable. Plus I really enjoy babysitting Claire and the L's, so today was a good day. Well I wasn't really babysitting the L's today, but I was at their house like I always am. I just love being around them. OH! Guess what I learned about today?! Geocaching (sp!?)... Claire and her parents do it. They are all over the world. Crazy stuff. I know. But next time they hit up my area of town, they're gonna text me. Claire and I are gonna hit up some Geocaching spots. Yeah, that cool.
Oh and tonight, Claire was convinced that I was moving in with her because her dad was like
"how would you feel if we turned that room upstairs opposite of your room into Abby's room, Claire?" and Claire was like "YEAH!"
Then later in the night Claire was like, "So are you really gonna move in with me?"
And I was like, "no." Then she put on her sad face. I was like, why are you so adorable. Like seriously. I will totally move in with you Claire. Just stop with the sad face, you're bringing me down! Love her. And her parents are super cool. They keep saying they are old, but I really don't think they are. Like maybe early 30's.... that's what I'm thinking. But I keep forgetting that they had careers before they had Claire... But they don't look old. Anyways, tonight Claire mentioned that her parents are cool. I asked her why, she just said that's how they are. It was completely and fully adorable. She also says she doesn't want to get married, but instead she wants to live with her parents forever. She then told me that I should never get married and instead just come live with her (this kid has an obsession with me coming and living with her.. I think she wants an older sister?!). I said that I want to have kids and stuff. She just kinda stared at me. I said, well I wanna have 5 kids. Maybe you could babysit for me. Then she opened up to my idea. Haha love the Bear.
Alright. I gotta go to bed. But first I need to put Anniston back in her cage :\

Feeling kinda down today. Not really for any specific reason. But just because. I don't really know why. Nothing really traumatic happened or anything. I just, I don't know. I mean, it was actually a pretty good day. If the L's come off the mountain to the mall or something, I might go give them an extra hand. We will see. I found a jacket I want though. At first I didn't really like them because everyone in the world has them... but now I kinda want one. They are super soft and super warm. I'm kinda warming up to the jacket. I am still a North Face kid (only because that was what EVERYONE had in middle school and I just love the North Face...) but they don't make anything similar to this jacket/pull over. Here it is....

Anniston in my pocket
Yeah she's just chilling in my shirt pocket. She is so cool. And really nervous. All. The. Time. No joke. I mean, God love her. But really?! Must we shake 24/7? Now she's up my sleeve again. Cool Anniston. Anyways. I really think I am enjoying my new English class. Like this really could be a good semester... I mean I already knew that both of my History classes with Mr. Cook would be awesome, just because of his teaching style. And I love Mrs. Gahan (I had her sophomore year), but I didn't know how she would do this class. Since it's her first year with senior English AND she only has this one class. It's completely different than Mr. Wells class though, that's for sure. Like literally, she apologized in class for saying a cuss word. I was like, you are too cute. I mean she was describing a character who was most definitely the word she said and there really was no way to describe it other than using that word. But it was just funny because Mr. Wells cussed in class literally all the time. And I really don't know much about my media arts class yet, mainly because I've only been to one class though. I accidentally skipped the 2nd class.. no really. I did. I have never had an A period class all throughout high school, and this is my first time actually having one. So I just sorta forgot about it. It was really embarrassing. And I felt super bad.
Musical auditions on Monday!? WHHHHAAAATTT?! super pumped... who else is pumped here?
Oh so I was at TJ Maxx earlier tonight. Got a Columbia jacket originally $75... I got it for $25! I feel so accomplished. It looks super comfy. It's one of those like weekend jackets that you wear around the house on Saturdays and Sundays. Not the type you would wear to a party. Really relaxing looking. I think I'm gonna wear it tomorrow to Winter One Acts though. HA take that system. I also saw a raincoat when I was there, but I'm sorta kinda broke so I can't get it. Kinda bumming, right? Yeah I agree. It's super cute. It's not a brand name, but it looks like it serves its purpose. It's only $25 too. I just really don't have that kind of money right now. I need that kind of money right now though. Maybe I'll hit up McKays tomorrow and trade in some of my DS games for cash. That could help, right? Gah I hope so. I really need some money right now.
I just really don't have that kind of money right now. alright it's cool
so i wont be doing proper capitalization for this post. Anniston is in my left arm of my uniform right now, fast asleep. shes so cute. i absolutely love her. how can one not love a pet mouse?! shes so soft and cuddly but full of energy at the same time. only negative is that she poops pretty often (although its not that difficult to clean up considering its completely stuck together and dries within minutes) and pees like once an hour (usually while in my hands... never fails). but i can deal with that. shes so adorable, how can i not. its like with a baby. gah she is sooo tired. i love how she nests into my sleeve in order to fall asleep. i absolutely love this moment. like pause, file, save as.... no joke. shes asleep in my sleeve next to my body heat on a temperpedic mattress topper..
oh did i mention that she can walk across my iphone screen or the trackpad on my mac and move the mouse and/or click on things?! so. freaking.adorable.
i took some pictures with her earlier.
eh, all this cuddling is making me miss the L's. i kinda want some molly cuddles. she seems to be the best snuggler out of the whole bunch. i mean, although ella is my baby, my best bud.... molly and i have a different kind of bond. she tolerates me sometimes. but other times i think she thinks i'm pretty cool. like at the CDM new years party... she thought the world of me and not once did she whine about wanting to be with her mom or dad. it was nice to have her full attention even thought Ms Debbie was cllearly in arms reach. i think Ms Debbie was a tiny bit relieved that molly would let me hold her for such a long time even with Ms Debbie right there. molls even gave me huge smiles at ihop the other day and at walmart when i wasn't holding her AND at the aquarium she giggled and smiled at me everytime we made eye contact :] loveeeee

short and sweet is my beat today
Almost had a huge wreck on the S curves today. Not my fault though. The girl was halfway over in my lane over the double yellow lines... RIDICULOUS! I was like what are you doing?! Thank goodness I was able to swerve into the lane next to me. Otherwise she would have definitely totaled my car and probably severely injured me. Like no joke. It would have been really bad. I probably would have had to go to the hospital for many hours. It could have even killed me. Isn't it weird how stuff like this happen like so many times throughout your life and you think about them?! Like I could have died. Or broken a bone. Crazy.
For dinner, we went to Rain. A Thai restaurant off of Shallowford Road. It was delicious. And I brought home my leftovers, which will provide me with like 3 more meals. Huge portions. That's all for now. I'm really tired and it's like almost 9:45pm. Gahh, I'm out!

9 week old puppy
Short post. Our pet sitter, Amy, came over to drop off Puff the Pom. Brought over this little chiwuawua (I have no idea how to spell this and I am too lazy considering it is 10:30 pm and I have had a long day... so deal with it. I mean, you wanna see the pup don't you?!) pup she is watching. LITERALLY the cutest thing ever. I could eat him. He has puppy breath ;)
Okay that really is it for today.
Amy thinks he should get a cowboy hat. I agree.
Like seriously. Can you say adorable?!
He kept falling asleep on me.. so adorable
Me and the baby
Okay that really is it for today.
night before school
yeah.. this is my 3rd post of the day. and yeah, I'm awful at moderation. Like one day barely post anything and the next day I post like 3 things. It's all about how my day is working out for me.
ANYHOO. Emily and I just had a lengthy one hour conversation on Skype. twas delightful. Then we both got really bored of each other. Haha. But she looked at the Ferret website with me. Wanna see what we picked?
http://www.ferret.com/item/ferret-nation-habitat-model-141/630303/
It's like $150, but I wouldn't ever have to buy another ferret cage. I mean it's quality. Plus I will most likely be living in tight quarters when I have my ferrets. So this just seems logical. I was going to get the one that's $200 and it's like taller (it's like double the space), but when talking to Em she urged me to not do it. I'm kinda leaning towards the cheaper one because I totally see her point. Like I think they will be fine. Plus, $50 is a lot of money. That's like 5 hours babysitting. I figure it will be around $500 I will need to START my ferret stuff. Like I need $130 per ferret (and I will need to get two... so they will each have a friend)... which equals out to be like close to $300 with tax. Then $150 for the cage (which I will have to order online since they don't have any where I live). Which comes to about $500. That's not even calculating in food, toys, litter, vet bills, etc. But it's a good start. Plus it's not like I will be getting my ferrets at the beginning of the fall. I mean, I kinda want to get settled in and stuff before I get my ferrets. To make sure that they fit into my schedule and everything. I don't want to get them just for me, I mean, they are alive and stuff. They have feelings, needs, and everything. I have to make sure I have enough money to provide for them.
Dang it. I was gonna check and see how much ferret food costs at my local pet store today... shucks. I'll have to go back and ask Tara what kind she rec. I feel like she would know. If you haven't noticed, I want the best for my rodent friends :]
Oh ps-- did you know that your ferrets can sleep with you in your bed? I mean, as long as you don't roll over on them and crush them of course. haha

Anniston and Heidi... and my love for ferrets
So I figure I should probably tell you guys that I have mice. And then introduce you to them. I have two wonderful mice, Anniston and Heidi. They are totes presh. I adore them. Heidi is smaller than Anniston and slightly insane. Every time I try to hold her and cuddle like I do with Anniston like every other day, Heidi launches out of my hand and flies across the room to run free (which by the way scares the H-E- double L out of me because I have 5 dogs and a mouse would be a fun toy... but only for a few seconds. So it's too difficult to play with her. But Anniston is just a doll. She will curl up in my hand and sniff around while I give her treats. She also doesn't mind as much when I put my hand in their cage. She is much more personable. Here are some pictures:
This is Anniston. The friendly mouse.
The micies, just hanging out together.
(Heidi on the left and Anniston on the right)
Heidi chilling in the toilet paper tube. Ps- if you ever have any of these that you don't need, feel free to give them to me.... I can never have enough!
Oh my gosh, I JUST packed all their food for the next month. You see, I give them fresh food every other day. And I fill these things up every once in a while. I used to only have a weeks worth of containers, but today I got another pack of them (thank God... they don't have any more and I got the last pack of 5 and another pack with just tops and one container which I needed desperately because my other tops for my treats went MIA) at the Dollar Tree. I cannot find them anywhere else. They are the perfect size and they are so colorful. I just love them. Anyways, I have to make sure that my mice have a balanced, yet varying diet. So I fill up half the container with food, then I put in 5 types of treats. It's a really complicated process. I am so picky about what my mice eat. When we get our organic veggies from our shared crop thing in the spring, summer, and fall... I like to put them on an all organic diet of beans and other small snippets of organic stuff to supplement their treat intake, but once we stop getting the organic stuff, they have to eat the packaged stuff. Too bad they can't be all organic all the time. They really love the green beans and lettuce fresh from the farm. Anniston especially loves the yellow beans. They sorta look like green beans, except they are yellow. Yellow beans?!
It's kinda sad to think about the fact that my mice have a better life than some people in the world, but I just can't stand to think of feeding my mice anything different. I mean, I want them to have the best possible life. Oh did I mention that when I was at the pet store today I spent $35 on mice stuff. Gah, I need a life. I was born to be a mother. But in my defense I had to get them more bedding (yeah they've been using the same bag of bedding since October. Wow, one bag lasts a long time. And they actually aren't even done with it, I just figured I should go ahead and get it while I was at the store. But the bag only costed like $8. And I mean it lasts like 3 months. So I don't feel like it's really that much. But I do always go over on their treats. I had to refill up on like 4 out of 5 of their treats. A little ridiculous, I know. Oh and I had to get them more food, and then the wonderful pet store worker (Tara, she is so sweet and she has been working at our local pet store since I can remember... which is like 7+ years) asked me if I needed any more chew sticks. And I got them some when I first got them, but they didn't really chew on them. Instead they just peed on them. So I figured they didn't like them. But she showed me the kind she gets her rats. So I picked up a pack of those. Put one of the variety pack pieces in the cage with them.... THEY WENT CRAZY. I was so happy I got the chew sticks. They looked tickled to chew on them. It made me feel good.
Oh the reason why I even got my mice was because I didn't want them to get eaten by snakes. I'm such a freak. Like seriously, there are like BILLIONS of mice in the world and somehow I feel like getting two will help. Oh well. I love them. I mean, it's two mice that didn't get eaten. right?
I want ferrets though. So I figure if I can keep two mice alive for their 2 year life spans, I can manage two ferrets. I held one at the pet store today. I have a slight obsession with them. I am just counting down the days when I can obtain my own. I need to start thinking of names for them. I don't know if I want a girl and a boy, two girls, or two boys. I guess I'll have to wait and see what Pet Care Warehouse has when I'm ready to purchase. They have the best ferrets. Swear. They have Marshall Ferrets. Which are the best kind. They are spayed/neutered before they are shipped, de-scented, socialized at a young aged, and checked for diseases. And they are babies when they are shipped. They are basically like pure bred ferrets with good backgrounds. They don't have as many health problems as other ferrets purchased at other stores. And they are super sweet. Oh and the common misconception that ferrets are evil, stinky, and bite everything is wrong. You are supposed to clean their cage daily. Not every other day, not once a week... NO! It's once a day. Morons who don't do that are liars. HA. ok so they probably aren't liars, someone probably just gave them wrong care instructions. GRR. My ferrets are going to have clean cages. And fresh food every other day like they are suppose to have. And 4 hours of human play each day. They are soo cute. And I am going to get them the best cage. With a lock and key of course (ferrets are very sneaky and slinky and can figure out how to undo a cage without a lock.... the sneaky part of ferrets is true). Gah I want a ferret sooo sooo desperately bad. I cannot wait till I can get them little ferret sweaters and play with them. Ok. That's all the rambling I have for now.
"no Mom, I don't want the BAD police officer to take you away!"
So today was quite the day.... oh BTW, my Internet is back up and running. My brother came back from Chicago and fixed the Internet. It was weird. Anyways, I'm back online now (at least until the Internet decides it doesn't want to work anymore).
OK back to today. So I went to the aquarium today with the L's. All four little ones, their lovely mother, and her lovely mother who lives with them. We had a delightful time. The girls were sporting their new Stride Rite shoes, precious as always (I'll upload the pic later). Of course I held Ella the whole time while Ms Debbie held Molly. Molly was ALL smiles all afternoon, didn't cry ONCE while we were walking around the "Ocean Journey" and then "River Journey" which is a total first. Both girls enjoyed their first aquarium visit. As we were leaving the "Ocean Journey" we stepped into the gift shop just to browse. Then I saw THE cutest stuffed penguin and had to splurge. I mean, it was soft like a Pillow Pet and looked like a real baby penguin all fluffy and stuff.
So I got it. And my little Ella Bean could NOT put it down. She was attached. She wouldn't let anyone else touch it let alone hold it. Every time we tried to let Molly hold it and cuddle (which she nuzzled up to it and smiled the biggest smile) with it, Ella would snatch it right out of her arms and hold it tight. She carried it the whole time we were on the River Journey. It was adorable. So I know what I'm getting her for her first birthday :].
Anyways, we saw a hedgehog, screeching owl, and two turtles. I didn't get to pet the turtle though even though you were allowed because I was holding my Ella Bean. Which was obviously satisfying.
After the kids lost it and we knew our delightful day was done, we had to get a snack. So we figured we would get ice cream at Cold Stone. Hopped into the car, flew over there, grabbed some delicious ice cream (Chocolate Devotion satisfied my chocolate needs for the week along with enough calories for the next month), then hopped back in the car. Then we were headed to Griffins work to pick up his check so Ms Debbie could deposit it. No big deal, right? Wrong.
So we were at the corner of 3rd/4th (I don't remember which) and Market. Waiting at the red light. The light turns green and I thought to myself, "I guess Ms Debbie should...." huge jolt..... The lady behind us bumps into the back of the car. Ms Debbie and I look at each other in complete confusion. It was literally the weirdest thing ever. Totally unexpected. So of course we had to pull over and call the police. Waited forever. Then a little police lady comes 30 minutes later in her little Prius with her yellow lights flashing. Whitman was convinced that the police lady was going to "take his mommy away" and wanted to sit in Ms Debbie's lap. It was so sad. He was so sad and tired and he desperately wanted to be with his momma. Of course both of the girls were in hysterics; screaming, crying, babbling, throwing toys... it was ideal. Naturally.
So that basically sums up my whole day. Basically. It was awesome. And I really don't want to go back to school tomorrow. Like seriously. I could totally just not go for that right now. Plus, like my whole schedule is different tomorrow. I changed English classes, so I had to drop a couple other classes. Maybe I should look that schedule up now. You know, the night before. NBD. Sigh, mk. Off the laptop for now. Maybe I should watch a couple more How I Met Your Mother episodes tonight to calm my nerves ?!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODYYY whattt whattttt
I be off a Facebook. You should all be proud of me. Really. I just deactivated it. I am going to give it the FULL year, I swear. I promise. Ok I really need all of y'alls support. Haha it's gonna be rough. like woah.
Meow. We (Em, Hanna, and me) are all just hanging out watching How I Met Your Mother. Season 3. It's shwicked. The Chain of Screaming. That's the episode. So good. Elegant idiots. Bah.
Oh you all missed the amazing dance off between my new friends. Houston, he was very outgoing. Seems like a good kid. And Blake. My prom date from last (yeah I said last, cause it was 2010) year. And Jack. Which is Quinns older brother. And Max. Who automatically had points on my scoreboard cause he was wearing Carhartts. They were all supaa cool. And they can all dance. Twas a fun New Years Eve/Day. It's really funny considering Hanna, myself, and Em are all on our Macs. Like completely amazing. Hanna has a green case on her Macbook Pro, I have a hot pink one on my Macbook Pro, and Em doesn't have one yet. But she is going to get one.
TAMALE part of the night was amazing. I don't know what kind I ate, I think it was pork(?!), but no guarantees. Anyhow, it was amazing. The corn part was amazing. It was really yummy. I think I want another one. First tamale=the greatest. Second tamale=?!. We will see. Until later tomorrow, WAIT I mean today.
